We are committed to working towards solutions that instill pride amongst ourselves, our children, and our community.
Upland Agricultural Consulting was established in 2010 by Peter Doig and Ione Smith, Professional Agrologists living in the coastal community of Sechelt, BC on shíshálh Nation territory. At the time that Upland was established, Ione and Peter were starting their family and hoping to be able to find meaningful work during a time when working via virtual offices was still considered unusual. Fast forward a dozen or so years and a couple of children later, and Ione and Peter's dreams have truly come true. Upland now employs Qualified Environmental Professionals based in satellite offices in Vancouver, Victoria, and Calgary and works collaboratively with land use professionals around the province. Upland has successfully completed more than 100 projects in communities all across British Columbia, from Vancouver Island to the Kootenays, North Okanagan, and Similkameen Valley. We have also led projects in the Yukon and collaborated on projects in Washington State and California.
